Here’s how ALL contests will work.

WE’VE HAD TO CHANGE HOW CONTESTS WORK, AS ONCE WE CONVERT TO THE NEW FACEBOOK GROUP FORMAT (WHICH CAN BE AT ANY TIME), WE WILL NO LONGER HAVE THE ABILITY TO CREATE DISCUSSION THREADS. We will create a group for each contest.

To win:

1. Simply join the contest group.

2. Each member will be assigned a number.

3. After the contest ends, a Smooth Jazz Spot Administrator will draw the winner by using http://www.random.org/.

4. We will then will notify the winners. Note: If you do not give us a way on Facebook to contact you, we’ll have no choice but to disqualify you from this contest. Good luck! If anyone would like to donate Smooth Jazz related giveaway items for a contest in the future, please message me. I’m sure autographed CDs, concert tickets, and other merchandise would be hot items, if any of our artist members and/or their management would like to participate. Nope, some work fine but others have no “Reply to Topic” button and I’m signed in just fine.

Bug in the system.

    Just because you can get the emails doesn’t mean you have joined smooth jazz spot. I did the same thing. When I finally noticed the join button, I joined. No problems since.

So far, I’ve found that everyone that couldn’t enter contests on Smoth Jazz Spot, were not yet members of our group. Once they joined, they had no problems.

  If it’s a contest that has multiple pages of responses, you need to either:
  
  1. Enter on the last page.
  
  2. On the first page on the right side, click where it says “Reply to Topic”.

I entered a couple of the contests, then when I tried to enter others, the discussion pages did not offer the opportunity to post to the discussion. I find that this is still the case today. I would like to enter more contests, but those that I am interested in do not allow me to post. Thank you.

    Some contests have only one page of posts, but there is no “Reply to Topic” button at the bottom.
